Red Sun

I breathe in ash,

Smoke burns my lungs.

In the sky shines

the red sun.

Sorrow in the wind,

Humanity’s sin.

The forest wails,

Listen, listen

to the wolf’s howl.

To the bird’s cry.

See the red flame

darken the sky.

The air is hot.

What has been done?

In the sky shines

the red sun.
