The Day the Stars Sang

That night, all the world looked up in wonder, in awe, in confusion.

For one moment, all humanity gazed toward the heavens and listened.

Beyond the space, among the stars, there was a soft melody dawning.

As quiet as ripples in the ocean but as piercing as a scream.

The stars. The stars were singing. They were singing.

A distant hum danced along our planet.

Like thin fingers gently plucking a minor chord on a guitar.

As faint as a whistle in the wind.

They sang of lost worlds, of lost lives, of lost humanity.

They sang of hope, of love, of futures beyond our own.

The whisper of a secret, the sense of wonder, longing to not be alone.

It was like the universe declared in one harmonic chord—

We are not alone.

The stars. The stars were singing. They were singing.

All the world looked up in wonder, in awe, in unison and listened to their song.
