How to Stop Caring What Others Think
*Spoiler alert: You will care what others think of you. You just have to decide not to care that you care what others think.
Does that make sense?
It’s hard not to be self-conscious. So accept that you feel this way. Accept that you care what they think. But then don’t let it affect you.
Someone doesn’t like you? The judgement in their eyes is upsetting? Maybe they also just don’t care.
Move on. Because the only opinion that really matters is yours.
Stop caring what others think. It’s a useless battle that doesn’t lead anywhere nice. In fact, it just leads to self-loathing. You disliking yourself because of the opinions of others is just sad.
Choose to love yourself first. Accept what others think of you, but don’t worry about it. And sure, we’re only human. It’s hard not to recognize the opinions of others. So recognize them, but don’t let their thoughts about you affect your life.
There is so much more to life than what others think.
So, just accept that people will think what they think, and you will think what you think, but that’s not a reason to stop living life. In the words of Queen Elsa “let it go!”
You’re stronger than you think.
Accept that you care what others think. Just don’t let it destroy you.
Because we’re all human, we’re all learning, and we’re all existentially flawed. Ha.
So, how do you stop caring about what others think?
It’s simple really. Don’t care.
Keep living.
It’s a fake it until you make it mentality.
When you truly don’t care what others think of you, you will experience a new kind of freedom.
You are you. Accept it. Love yourself. Live life.
Just be you.
The rest will follow.
